My 4 month old baby Jaida had shots last wed. & still has a knot under her thigh from it :( doc said its normal but i want some input from moms, thaks :)

It is normal but if you want to get rid of it rub it while shes taking a warm bath and then have her work her legs with jumping or what ever she is comfy with doing. My little one had the same problem until he could walk, it helps the knot go away much faster.

my baby had his 6 month old shots 2 in one thigh/leg and 1 in the other thigh/leg but' its been almost 1 week gone by and he still has a knot where the shot was given to him at in both legs but in one leg its a tight big knot and it does hurt him what can i do for it to go away for pain or help it go away faster?

hi! yes, that's normal, you might want to put some warm compress on it, you can put warm water in a bottle and press or knead it gently over the knot (like a rolling pin). don't apply too much pressure though, the warmth should be enough to "loosen" that knot. : )

My daughter just had her first vaccines last week and the same thing happened to her, it is completely normal and should subside after a day or so. A small bruise may appear at the site where they gave her the shot, but that is also normal. My doctor suggested a small amount of infant's tylenol to help with any soreness and fever, and a warm bath to help soothe the muscle.

yeah its normal,. move her legs back & forth it should ease the pain & shouldnt have any knots if so not as big & they wont last as long

  Hello JoAnn I never heard of that happing but I'm not a doctor so I wouldent know. hopefully you can get another opion. well hope u find out. when u do let everyone know.
