I would like to add some of my opinions of Missy I think she is a great person just doing her best like all of us. Admins do not have the authority or option to remove a person from COM and if you do block them they just rejoin. So what can we expect I think what could be a step forward instead of a step back and pointing pointless fingers we could possible come together and invent a list of rules we would like to see on COM as a whole. Then present this to Lisa because as it stands there are so many things members would like to see but the rules make this hard I think bullying for one should have more attention it would be beneficial to block just a person who is harrasing you from seeing your posting as well as you seing theres just like the other does not exist. I would like others like hijacking threads to take place and also as I have seen mit many times and not just the Sean jhonson one but using a name in a topic to criticize or bully or anything that is not positive. Example... How do we get Joe blow to quit asking the same questions on this community. Yeah its lame but I am tired lol

Good point Melissa, i feel bad dragging this whole thing out and getting pissed of with the moderators. I think having the option to block or ignore a member if you find them offensive would be a helpful function here on COM. If they could not see you and you could not see them it would save a lot of back and forth off topic bickering.

i am sorry that i pointed fingers and blamed people for being 'in on it'. i figured noone can be trusted anymore. the whole rhonda/sean/hannah thing has made me think that COM is not a safe place to be. its scary to think people are fake on here.. but i guess no mattere what site you go on their are fake people.. im not comfortable sharing my personal experiences and opinions on here anymore :(

Ugh I hate that typing, makes me want to lash out irrationally at the poster. Seriously, I think it takes more time to type that way then to type normal.

found this.. think its the kind of typing jamie meant.. i do think it should not be typed this way.. its so hard to understand and as jamie said, we are all adults so maybe we should type that way :)

I think if a mod blocks someone they should be required to email the blocked person as to why.

Also, I dont think ebonics or slang should be allowed to be used. If we are supposed to be adult why do we need to type incorrectly on purpose. Its one thing to use an abbreviation such as DH or BM, but another to totally leave letters out of words. We arent 16 lets talk like adults.

I dont think blocking someone from seeing your posts is even an option. It is a public forum, everyone is entitled to respond. You do however have the capability to block them from looking at your wall or facebook profile.

YAY! I love to see people working things out calmly and rationally, and solving things without name-calling and bullying!

Way to go moms!

I agree that we need a blocking feature. Sometimes the threads just go way beyond the ability to be controlled before a moderator is alerted or is able to act upon the alert. I would very much like to see this option become a reality. It's just sad that even as moms we can't all just come together and support each other as MOMS ... I get tired of all the lifelong debates on which mom is a better one and who has the better kids based on choices of school as well as whether you spank or not ... it's not a competition folks ... it's life and we each do our very best.

Emma - Realize that this is the internet. There really are fake people anywhere online which is why you should always use caution when posting. If you decide to join a different mom community on another site keep that in mind. Same with posting pics. Any pic you post on the internet can be found by a random stranger for them to look at. Just look at google. I'm sure a lot of those pics that I search up on there weren't meant for me to see but I see them anyway.
