I'm looking for other single moms to talk to. I am in a relationship with a wonderful man, and I know we will be getting married one day, but as of now, I'm a single mom. No one in my family, or my other new mom friends understand what I'm going through because they are all married. I would just love to talk to/make friends with somone else who knows how I am feeling and what I'm going through. Someone who needs a break as much as I do at times, someone else needing a sympathetic ear.

lol ya i have thought about teaching! All thru my teenage years I was babysitting! Even when I was pregnant i was babysitting. i just like doing things that have to do with taking care/helping children ;) I'm glad to hear that you know everything that you wanna do tho. Good job being able to do all that you are doing while taking care of kids

That's awesome that you're finishing up your highschool! I didn't know they had that as an option online, it's certainly past due... Imagine all the young moms that could have finished HS had they come up with this program earlier. Have you thought about teaching? One of the reasons I decided on the education option as an artist is because it's more reliable than many jobs out there, the benefits balance out the lower pay, and the schedule will allow me to hopefully keep the same schedule as my girls as they're growing up. If you like younger kids, you could always go toward teaching kindergarten or preschool...I'm aiming toward HS bc they can use sharper tools so I can do more with them lol. Just throwin out some ideas lol

Right now im just finishing up my highschool. And yes it is online. I'm not sure what i wanna study after that. There are so many things i would like to do! I would love to do something involving children... But i do love the flexibility about it.

I work in the Admission's Office of my College doing work study...I'm actually pursuing a degree in Art Education K-12 licensure. The goal is to teach HS Art eventually. Are you doing online classes? Or TV? I'm taking one of my classes online...and I've done online classes at other schools before, but dang, it requires so much organization to not fall behind! The flexibility is awesome, but overall I think it's a bit more difficult than on campus classes...at least for me it is lol What are you going for?

Well I'm 25, and I have two little girls. Naomi will be 6 next month and Hannah is 3. I was married for 6 years and finalized my divorce almost a year ago now. My girls and I stayed with my mom and stepdad for awhile but it wasn't the best of situations, last december we were finally able to get out on our own and have it as just the 3 of us. Are you gals in school, or working or anything along those lines?

Heyy, I know what you are going thru.. I am 20 years old & I am also in a relationship with the father of my baby. We have been together for almost four years now. My son is 22 months old. I don't live with my bf, I live with My son, my brother and my dad. So trust me I know what it feels like to need a break. So I am a single mom too and I live with all guys =S But you can add me as a friend if you want!! How old are you? How old are your kid(s)?

I feel you completely. Though I doubt I'll ever be marrying the man I'm with sadly. Where are you from? Wanna add me as a friend? We could email maybe? I honestly can say I don't really have any friends in the same situation as me, everyone is married, or single without kids.
