I gained 50 lbs when i was pregnant. i lost 15 to 20 lbs right off the bat, my baby is 6 weeks old. I've been eating more healthy foods and eating less. i've been trying to work out but i'm always so tiered from taking care of her all day and night i dread doing it. any suggestions?

I have a three year old and lost all the weight and fit back into my old pants in a week. I now have a month old and I can't seem to fit into anything. I lost all the weight within the first week again but I can't seem to get rid of what I call the mommy flubber it is driving me crazy.

i gained 25 pounds with my son, and the first week i lost it all and then gained about 10 of it back. But my clothes still dont fit the same. I honeslty just forget to eat sometimes, cause I get so busy with the baby.. lol Horrible I know. I also want to get the wii fit. I have heard it works wonders...

With my first son, I gained about 40 pounds during pregnancy and it took me almost a year of constant excersize to lose all of the weight I had gained. The thing that hurt me was that my metabolism slowed down tremendously after having the baby. I really had to watch what I ate and it still took forever. Just keep working at it, its going to be hard work.

I gained about 50 lbs too and lost about 10 the first 2 weeks but didnt lose any more for ages. I have started swimming and am losing it quite quickly now (my son is 9 months). It als gives me a chance to be me....not just a mother and girlfriend! Good luck but don't stress yourself out about it.

I also gained 50 pounds and lost about 28 pounds the first 6-8 weeks. And 10 of those pounds were baby! I was at a plateau for about 2 months before I started losing weight again. I didn't really start exercising till my son was about 3 months. I was too tired! I joined the YMCA, they have free childcare while you exercise so baby gets to play while you work out. My advice would be to not be in a big hurry to lose the weight. It took 9 months to gain all that weight, it'll take at least that long to lose it!

you could do a search to see if there is a Stroller Strides near you. it costs about the same as a gym membership, you bring baby, and there are other mothers there to motivate you. i found i couldn't get my butt out of bed to go to the gym, but i joined stroller strides and even though baby wasn't sleeping through the night just knowing there were other moms there for support i had the motivation to go do it. i love it, lol. that and going for walks, gives me energy for the rest of the day

I bought a Wii fit! It's easy, goes at your own pace! you can do it in between baby, chores and other things! I carry my son whilst doing the step exercising! It's awesome! I lost 3lbs in one week! I highly recommend it!
