My son loved it when i mixed apples and bananas together. And you don't need to add sugar or syrup to the food to make them like it. I had problems with my father in-law always giving my son sugar and stuff like that and it always made him grumpy.

So easy! I just bought good foods (that otherwise would be SO expensive in each jar of baby food) and pureed them in the blender (if you have a food processor or Magic Bullet or anything like that it will work), and saved all the excess in icecube trays with seran wrap over it in the freezer; when she needs a meal, take out 2-3 cubes, warm them and serve! Go to wholesomebabyfoods.com I believe; that's where I got all my info, tips and ideas!

i made my sons foods, i don't cook with salt anyways so i didn't have to worry about that. . i would cook veggies and then put some in a blender for him and blend it then serve it, and i could prepare mine with what i wanted. . .what you could do also is make a big batch of veggies of which ever ones then fill it with ice trays, after it freezes you can put them in a bag or container then you just take one or two (cook it or microwave it, if you use those) and feed him that. . and if he need more you can add more. . .and don't forget all the veggie and fruit choices. . i would always forget and just get peas carrots and green beans. . .oh yeah green beans don't look that great blended but thats okay. . it looks chunky and watery
