i started giving my 11 month old baby boy an ounce of milk mixed in his bottle 3weeks ago and i slightly bumped it up to an ounce in a half. Yesterday he started going diahrea. Do you think it's the milk? Maybe he is allergic?

If it is related to the milk it is probably more of an intolerance than an allergy. Some children out grow it. My six year old didn't but my two and a half year old can have about a half of  cup of strait cow's milk and be fine. It wasn't like that six months ago. I don't think you can tell from one incedent though. If it is the milk and he's handling dairy formula just fine I'd keep him on it until 18 months then try again. I know it is more expensive but it is more nutritionally appropriate for a little one than strait cow's milk.

was he on formula befor? and if he was what brand of formula? if it was nestle good start then it should be a milk allergie because thats a milk based formula :) sounds like he could just be getting sick. if your concerned then i would call your doc! but normally you would have noticed within the first 3 -5 days if her was allergic!! hope this helps :)
