I have a 6 month old and she is not sitting up even with support she likes to fall forward. She hates Tummy Time, she never lifts her neck when shes on her tummy just leaves it in the blanket. She doesn't put any weight on her legs just keeps them curled up and as much as i try to talk with her and her saying like mum mum or dada or buba she just makes werid like monster sounds. It takes a while to get attention and sometimes she cries for hours like she has a discomfort. The longest she has cried was 4 hours. She has started solids and is doing well with them but her milk is still giving us a problem. When she spits up she spits up a lot. The other thing is I have tried many bottles and the best ones so far are born Free and Playtex ventair (the slated ones) but she is still on the newborn nipple if i switch the mess she makes is worse. I have two other children one who is Autistic (4.5) and the other who is 2.5 and she is just starting to talk. The one other thing my baby does that concerns me is she sticks out her tounge a lot. She isnt rolling over either and she gets sick a lot.

I have tried talking to my doctor and he said that shes fine because her weight is fantastic which is 16.3 lbs but as a mom i feel that there is something else going on. What should i do? Am i right to be concerned?

I know this is an old post but wondering how you made out after. My lo is a little slower on the milestones at the moment.

I think you should get a second opinion. Ask the doctor of any places that specializes in that and go there. Good luck!

Thanks at least someone understands. i had the public health nurse come out and take a look at her and she is also concerned and made it clear she should see a peditrican. so thursday i am going to take her over. Hopefully she can help me again...she was great with my first daughter.
