ive been having sharp pains like something is pioking me like a needle or something and im tired of bleeding for weeks and then off 2 weeks and then start bleeding for another 2 weeks. they told me its because i have a thyroid disorder and they are conflicting with each other and making it do that

I had it taken out, little cramiping, very minimal bleeding. How long have you had it in? When I had it had a long period then after that barely any periods at all. Whats making you want to get it out, just curious?

I just had mine taken out a month or so ago. My doc had me cough when she pulled it out, it helps to open the cervix the a little and probably distracts you. I had a sharp twinge for just a second, no cramping afterwards. I did bleed in the office, so I suggest bringing a pad with you and they say you can take asprine before hand. It definately doesn't hurt NEARLY as much as putting it in! Good luck!

i've had it taken out twice there is some cramping afterwards, or was for me. not much pain with actual removal. there is bleeding after wards from change in hormones, the removal of it, your body adjusting and such. Good luck.
