Mosquito Bites

Wondering how to tell if your child has an allergy towards mosquitos? Where we live its hard not to be bitten every once and a while because its summer all year long and I would hate to not be able to take my daughter outside. So I noticed that she gets a bite everytime we are outside and it takes a few days to get rid of while I apply the creme. Is this normal or should I be concerning myself a little more about it?

When my boys got a mosquito bite during the summer they did have one or two that took a couple of days for it to go away. Then I found Buzz patches that keeps the mosquitos away. You can put it on their clothes, their skin... it smells a bit but it works really well.

They make some bug spray for babies that worked really well with my son. It seems like the mosquito's just flocked to him, but the spray and that cream worked really well. You might wanna talk to your Dr. about the spray, he might just tell you to keep on the cream depending on how old your daughter is.

Of my experiences and knowledge a few days on a childs skin is normal. Considering their skin is so sensitive the smallest thing can be shown on them. Just keep applying the cream. However if she starts bloching all over, swelling, getting sick, or anything else you do need to go see your doctor. However, it is good to keep up with your doctor on allergies and such.
