my daughter is two, and we just moved her into a big girl bed. but she wont stay in it when it is time to go to bed. and every night we struggle with fits to get her to go to bed. or she wakes up at two in the morning and gets out. how do i keep her in her bed?

Do you ever watch Supernanny? We tried their suggestions with our daughter when we moved her into a big girl bed and they worked really well after just a few nights. Those first nights though were very demanding. We sat in her floor not facing her and every time she would get out of bed get up ad put her back in it without saying a word, except an occasional I love you, good night. She would cry and fuss, but we were right there so I know she wasnt scared just wanting her way and being mad about it. The first night took about an hour and a half and the second about 30 minutes, after the 3 night we put her baby gate up in her room that way she has to stay in there and we dont have to sit in there anymore, and if she does get up we just say I love you get back in bed, and she generally does. Whatever you try though, stay consistant, and give on the rules even just for one night, will set her back and it will be 20 times harder to get her to klisten after that.
