I've been very lucky, as my 3 month old has always been a good sleeper. I read "Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Baby" and it has a lot of good tips. The biggest one that helped me was that babies really need to go to bed early. It says if your baby is acting fussy before you put them to bed, put them to bed 20 minutes earlier the next night. This allows them to fall asleep before they hit their second wind, in turn allowing them to sleep harder and longer. My sister's baby was also a very good sleeper (13 hours a night at 8 weeks!) and then suddenly started to get up in the night and her doctor said to increase her food intake directly before bed so her tummy was full through the night.

My 10 month old doesn't ethier. I think it's because of his teeth are coming in. I'm still working on it also so you are not alone:)

I know what you are going through my son is ging to be 3 next weekend and he still does not sleep all night. I have tried goin him a bed time snack, let him play hard outside all day, and the worst idea was do not let him take a nap. All it do was make me and him cranky. I have yet to figure out what to do to get him to sleep all night.

does she get up to eat or just for you to hold her? if she is getting up to eat you can try giving her a bottle of just water, after a few nights she should stop getting up. otherwise, i really liked the book Good Night Sleep Tight by Kim West, i thought it was very helpful & practical.
