Hello, I have a 15 month old that was on a great schedule that is until our new baby came 3 months ago. Since he was born she refuses to sleep in her bed. Before he was born she fell asleep on her own and would sleep all night in her crib. Now she falls asleep in our bed, we put her in her crib and she wakes up screaming to come back to our bed. This needs to STOP! I don't know what happened in the last 3 months.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will try that and see how she does. I will have to be persistent that she stays in the crib because she cries as soon as she sees her crib.

My husband and i will put his two year old to sleep in her own room and bed by laying next to her until she falls asleep then quietly get up and go to our room and she sleeps soundly through the night. Now its getting to the point where we can lay next to her for a sec and say to her "we'll be in the next room ok?" and she'll go to sleep on her own.

I would also suggest letting her cry it out, but since she is throwing up that obviously won't work for you. So, maybe try sitting in her room, maybe in the door way (or right next to her crib, then work your way closer to the door each night) unti lshe falls asleep. This way she won't feel alone or like she's being left out.

The problem I have had with that is she wont fall asleep she will cry so much she vomits and that is not fun to clean up. We have tried that and every time the same thing a big huge mess.

She is staking her territory. You just need to try and balance time between the two. Have he in her crib, she will scream, but eventually she will fall asleep. It's hard but she will get used to it. Her baby brother threw her off a bit.
