My 16-month-old has a patch of eczema on her cheek, any suggestions to get rid of it?

I believe Rooibos (Redbush) tea can help when applied topically. You would need to research it. It helps with cradle cap and nappy rash too apparently. I'm yet to try this though. Just haven't got around to it. I don't use soap on my girls neck, just water and I sometimes place a fatty body cream.

i know this is going to sound strange, but it worked for me and a few others i know! get a muslin square, put oats and bicarbonate on soda in it and tie at the top , put it into ur childs bath. it does create a bit of a funny looking soapy substance in the bath, but it really helped. also ive recently found out that full fat mik isnt great for exczma and ive been told to give semi skimmed milk and this also has made a difference, but ask ur health professional about doing this with milk first. good luck x

My daughter has eczema on her cheeks and I treat it with an emollient cream - various brands make them.
