I didn't start talking till I was about three but I have great listening skills and caught up to my peers by the time I was about six. There are so many things that could be causing this though and many of them require early entervention. Have you tried the baby sign language videos? They worked great for my neice. No one could understand her till she was about 2 1/2 now she is 3 1/2 and she has alot of friends.

Every child learns and grows and differant speeds but they are usually about the same by the time they start school so don't worry too mutch. There are so many milestones and she will reach all of them in her own time some earlier some later.

I have 15 month triplets and they really dont talk either they say mama dada wow yeah and just recently yes oh and nana for banana one of them just recently did that today their doctor wanted them to see a audiologist but we canceled that because there is nothing wrong with their hearing at all but they are going to see a developmentalist next month have you talked to her pediatrician about her not talking maybe she needs to see a audiologist or a developmentalist just to make sure nothings wrong with her hearing or anything
