try not to worry too much a couple days of lower appetite wont permanently affect his overall weight gain. He will gain it all back, especially when he hits a growth spurt. :)

If you are concerned because it has been going on longer then just a few days then try putting on orajel before meals it worked great for my daughter the only thing that worked for my son was Tylenol and gripe water also fruit smoothies might be a good way to give him food without him having to chew at all

good luck

I am having the same problem with my 16 month old. I found you can't force them to eat and you can't just give them "bad" foods so they eat. I have been trying to give my son anything really cold like cold grapes, cold sandwiches, anything. It seems to help his gums and not hurt him.

... I hope it helps

He might just be getting into a "picky" phase also. All of my kids went through this starting at about this time.
