My 2 month old has been coughing and congested for about 3 days. His doctor said to use Saline and to suction mucous out with a bulb. His doctors appointment is tomorrow but I'm desperate for remedies. What would you do to ease congestion in a 2 month old ? I heard sitting in the bathroom with the shower running is helpful. What remedies would you guys do/use?

I used a vaporizer and I like the saline that comes in the form of a q tip. Once the mucus losses up I suction it out. Give your little one lots of tlc. Mommy's kisses and hugs will always help make them feel better!

What your doing is correct so just have to ride it out poor baby :-) hope he feels better soon

Put baby vicks on his feet and put socks on him (it's weird but trust me!), the saline works to clear his nose and then use a vicks vaporizer at bed time to keep his nose clear!

I prop my daughter up with a pillow (I've heard you can put it under the mattress sheet of their crib but personally that freaks me out so I sleep on the couch with her). Also she has a chair that reclines back and I let her sleep in that a lot. It lets her head be elevated but she's still safe and comfy.
