Let me start by saying hi Im Tammy! I have 3 children! A 12 year old Daughter, a 10 Year old Son, and my little Girl who is 3 1/2! I am 29 years old! My two girls live with me and my husband! My son lives with his Father in a diffrent state! My girls are 9 years apart! So any way I asked my 3 year old to pick up her room the other day and her respons to me was.. " If you want it clean then do it your self!" Im not kiding! That was her exact words to me! I was mad but laughed insted!

lmao oh the age of talking back , i dont think she is a teen just in a stage where she is defining her independence, annoying and sometimes cute but just remind her that your still the adult and her room needs cleaning whether she wants to or not. That lil stage will pass eventually but i wouldnt suggest you laugh everytime she pulls that or it wont stop. My aunts 4 kids all hit that stage (ironically when i babysat them...) so i told them either they clean it or i was gonna take their stuff home with me , they cleaned it reeeal fast then. try something on those lines... lol good luck

Well I tried the advice of taking away and she told me" Go ahead my Daddy will bye me more!" Today she told me "I am moving to my grandmas so I dont have to clean! She loves me!" She just dont understand I love her but even at 3 1/2 she still has responsability!

I know exactly what you mean. My 3 1/2 year old daughter is the same way. She has just discovered her attitude and oh my you better watch out! Especially if you are her brother!

She tells me everynight about 5:00, " Mom you need to go in the kitchen and cook me dinner now." I think she got that one from dad. She also now picks out her clothes telling me what is pretty that day and what is ugly. She tells me how many tails she wants in her hair, if she wants big ones or little ones, and what color they should be. And boy is she a drama queen. I can only imagine what the actual teen years will be like.....
