i have found that when it comes to girls and boys and potty training girls are totally different, they learn quicker and usally hit the milestones sooner. i have a 4 year old and from about 3 i kept trying to get rid of the nappies at nite but he wasnt having it. we focused on getting through the day without any accidents and then a dry nappy through the nite. i kept saying that after his forth bday the nappies wouldnt be around anymore and kept reminding him of that. then one nite getting ready for bed he just said i'm big now, no nappies. he gets a sticker for a dry nite. never lets us take to the toilet at nite, i often hear the toilet flush at 1 in the morn so he has set his mind to it. i limit drinks at nite. have only had a few accidents but smooth sailing concidering. he was ready so i thinkl that made ot easier, look for the signs or you'll end up drowning in awful smelling bed clothes. good luck and always be positive with each step.

Hi! we just waited for her to stop wetting her daiper at least 2 or 3 days in a row. then we started to take her to the bathroom right before bed and letting her sleep without a diaper. it took a couple of accidents for her to get used to it but now she is doing great.

we would take our daughter to the bathroom right before bed and then again about 11pm i would wake her up and take her to to the bathroom and then put her back in bed. we did this for about a month i guess. it helped her to get use to waking up in the middle of the night if she had to go. then just left here one night on her own. (but made sure she still went before bed) she's never had an accident.
