ok my son just turned 5 months old,he was somewhat sleeping...Now its like pulling teeth to get him to sleep. when he does finally sleep he moves around and doesnt sleep long. My first son slept through the night so this is all new to me i dont know what to do.. is it normal? Hes also gotten to where hes spitting up all the time.. The dr. says its normal because hes not losing any weight could this have someting to do with him not sleeping good????

my son did the same thing, i would give him bath with this stuff called parents choice baby bath with chamomile and lavender that stuff worked wonders with him. and the spitting up tell your dr you want to find out if he has baby reflux my son had that and spit up a lot. and what worked for my kids to help them sleep and to keep them from spitting up i would let them sleep in thier car set so the stayed proped up. and i did that until they were about 6 or 7 months old and when the spitting up stoped i put them in a bed but i would leave the car set with them in it by my bed, or if you have a bed for him you can buy this thing that props them up while they sleep i think wal-mart has it or you can try a baby store. i hope this helps you good luck.

i don't know. i'm still expecting, but this doesn't sound like a "normal" situation. maybe a second opinion wouldn't hurt?

My daughter chloe never slept through the night! she is now 15 mths and still doesn't:(.. All i can say is fill him up (cereal) & a bath before bed that seem's to help a little. Also she threw up alot when she was that age & her doctor said it was normal..Go figure
