My 6 week old only stays asleep in my arms

My 6 week old has begun a new habit the last few nights of waking every 10-30 minutes after I lay her down. She then refuses to fall back to sleep unless I at least pick her up, but usually have to nurse her too. I've tried soothing her in the crib but after 20 minutes she cries so hard she throws up. I've ended up falling asleep in the chair while she nurses and that's the ony way either of us has slept more than an hour at a time. I swaddle, use white noise, preheat the mattress with a heating pad and have no trouble with transferring her to her crib. I've also tried waiting longer before putting her down but it doesn't seem to matter. She is exclusively breastfed and refuses a pacifier. I won't cosleep and I don't believe cry it out is appropriate at this age. Any suggestions?

she has got major wind, I have had problems with it with both my kids and the best thing that worked was to get that god damned wind out. then she will be fine.

It sounds like you are doing all the right things. Good job mom! But, I can imagine it is quite frustrating. All I can suggest is that you keep trying. Maybe let her fuss just a little longer each time? I wouldn't have survived without a swing. They even have ones that vibrate these days. Good luck and keep up the good work!
