my 9 mnth old has a bad chest cold and loosen her voice

I am a 1s i at time mom nd worried what could i do before running to the er? she seems fine with fluids i have checked her temp no temp just really worried..

try pedialyte for children. that's what we gave my son when he got sick. also infant's vicks chest rub helps too. you rub it on her chest, on her back (between the shoulder blades), behind her ears and the bottoms of her feet. do that after a bath and right before bed. the pedialyte helps her throat stay lubricated and her voice gets better. and don't sleep with the windows in the room open. that causes anybody to lose their voice, especially babies. good luck :)

The best thing to do for a cold is to keep up the fluids. Keep her warm and keep an eye on her temp. There's not much the doctors will do.
