I have a 9 month old son and he was a really good sleeper at night but in the past weeks he is up constantly throughout the night. my husband said to let him cry it out but that doesnt work. i thought maybe it was teeth, it wasnt, i thought maybe it was his tummy bothering him, its not. i dont know what else to do.

Does he sleep throughout the day? You may want to try keeping it well lit through out the day and try to keep him up and about. A 30 minute nap may be okay around noon or depending on the time you wake but at best try to keep him up so that he's tired at night. Also make sure his sleeping area is dark and calming.

My son, who has always been a fan of sleeping, started waking up a lot during the night at about 1. After a couple weeks of this I asked my doc and she told me also to just wait it out and see if he goes back to sleep. If he didnt she said to give him some water. It took about a week but he finally gave up and went back to sleeping all night.

Good luck!

thank you for the advice, that may be the problem because he woke up every three hours last night and wanted a bottle, someone told me he might be growing? i felt like i had a newborn in the house again.

Have u taken him to your doctor to rule out any problems? What seems to settle him? My daughter was waking at night around the same age for a bottle, so we gave her water instead because she was having 3 meals a day and she soon stopped waking. Hope he settles for you soon =)
