My baby doesn't sleep without a bottle!

My son is about to turn one and I want to take the bottle away from him. I can't get him to sleep without a bottle. I cursed myself and since he was about 2 months old he has had a bottle to fall asleep. I have eliminated bottle throughout the day with the exception of nap time and bedtime. Should I just let him cry at night? He has his favorite blanket and stuffed animal, but after a hour I just can't seem to tolerate it anymore and I give him a bottle! I wish I did this sooner but my husband wakes up at 4:30 and I can't put him through it either. Please help!

I would just do water no milk or juice. Milk and juice can cause teeth to rot if it is left to sit on teeth. If he refuses the sippy at night and naptime what I would do is put only water in the bottle. Then each day start by reducing the amount of water you put in by about 1/2 an ounce.

The main things to work with my daughter: The reduced water. I would not suggest giving milk or juice or anything but straight water... So bad for their teeth!

As well, to help her sleep the night, i gave her one cup, regular oatmeal right after her bath. Brushed her teeth and put her to bed, within 10minutes she was out til 6am. .... better then 3am lol...

parents wonder why their kids wont go to bed but they givem juice and cookies n jello. i would not do that lol babe will definitly wake up n wanna go go go... i went through that 2months ago. Try different things. Every child is different. But the juice intake at night, with most children, will rot the teeth, and the reason they fall asleep so quick is the sugar high then they crash. Hope this helps as well :)

Use sip-pie cups. Give him nice bath at night put half juice half water in his sip-pie cup and I am sure he will go to bed then. it works every time
