Are you trying to get your child to sleep in a crib/bassinet? Or is this even when they come to bed with you? Around 6 months my Son did the same thing. I ended up giving up on the crib and letting him sleep with us because I was just exaughsted to the point of non-functioning.

Mind you he's now 15 months and we're still having all out battle everynight to get him to sleep on his own now. Still at 15months he's less work that at 6months (he entertains himself, ect). Plus I'm fully recovered from pregnancy/delivery whereas you're probably still pretty whiped (even if you don't realize it).

So maybe try bringing your child to sleep with you when you DESPERATELY need sleep. Better to get some rest and be able to cope than go to complete exaughstion and not.

My son did the same thing, I found out he wasn't getting enough to eat so he was waking up all the time. It was so hard, i understand what your going through. I was breast feeding and giving him bottles. We also started giving him baby cereal with baby food and a bottle before bed to get him tummy nice and full. Hope it helps. Good luck! Just remember it won't be like this for long....
