Any ideas to comforting her. Besides Tylenol and Oral Gel?

My son is 8 mo old and I have found that nursing does the trick, however if you have stopped already or decided not to, the teething tablets are awesome!!! I did notice that they made him a little tired...so I do not use them often...plane rides and bedtime.

When my daughter was teething we used the orajel but she did not seem to like it very much so we tried different types of teethers. Some were really tough for her to get in her mouth to where she needed it so we ended up wetting a washcloth, molding it to the shape of a finger and freezing it until it was stiff. She liked how it felt and she was able to get it just where she wanted it to go in her mouth.

Try Hylands teething tablets (you can find them at most drugstores) - they worked great for my daughter. They are really tiny and dissolve in their mouth in a matter of seconds, we started using them when she started teething really bad at 4 months and I didn't want to give her tylenol all the time. Also the nite time formula orajel is great.
