Hi my 7 week old baby keeps been sick after every bottle nearly, sometimes its alot and sometimes only a bit and it can be upto 2 hours after having her bottle. It seems that she just always seems to be wearing a bib because i never seem to take it off incase she's sick the poor thing. Any advice would be really appreciated. Thanks :-)

talk to your dr. cuz i had the same problem and we switched her formula several times before finally settling on a soy based one. it could also be acid reflux which can actually be treated with medication.good luck girlie.

Definetly call your doctor. They will probably tell you to change formula, All three of my children ended up on soy (blech) my youngest still got sick after every feeding until she was able to crawl. I don't know why but laying on her back or being tousled around just didn't agree with her tummy. But be sure to call the doc there are lots of reasons for the sickness.

Talk to you doctor. Don't assume that she is lactose intolerant. Some babies are just really pukie... Is she a normal weight for her age?

change the formula... she may be lactose intolerant. Try soy milk, Its healthier and nutritional.

What type of formula are you giving her? Maybe she is lactose intolerant. I would talk to the dr. about changing her formula. I can tell you that some doctors are old fashioned and say it's normal to spit up but if you feel something isn't right, you are more than likely correct. My son (now 2) had to be on Alimentum because he has a dairy protein allergy, couldn't handle soy, and had acid reflux. It's super expensive but he wasn't sick all the time. It will take a few weeks for it to totally leave her system so you won't see immediate results. Poor baby! I hated the stage on trying to find out what worked for him and what didn't!

Hang in there and hope this helps :-)

maybe its the formyla your giving her. not every baby is able to take just any formula you give them. when i had my first daughter i was giving her good start formula but her stomach couldnt handle it. after a few different formulas i found out that she couldnt handle milk base formula so i had to get soy milk based formula for her. all i can really tell you is try a new one and see maybe thats the probleme and dont just use the new one for a day her body has to be able to realise that its new so maybe do it for 2 weeks just to make sure. good luck
