My 2 year old daughter (who has never had a problem sleeping) has recently been refusing to sleep in her bed or if she does sleep in her bed she wakes up regularly through the night and comes back into our room. She seems to think that when ever it is dark there are tigers hiding and she tells us they are going to get her. Her latest one is that there are monsters under her bed, we have tried giving her a teddy to protect her, telling her there are no tigers and even telling her that tigers are scared of the butterfly's hanging above her bed but nothing seems to be working. Running out of patience, please help!

we bought my daughter this lady bug that light up a starry sky. (it can be red blur or green) it has a 45 mintue automatic timer so it doesnt glow forever and run the battery dry. maybe she can use something like that, and then if she gets worried at night she can just reach over and push the button on. http://www.google.com/products?source=ig...

we have been leaving a light on in the hall out side her room but maybe i should try a hand held one, i also suggested to my hubby that we make a little bed for her on the floor next to our bed so she wont get used to sleeping with us but he seems to have a 'thing' with her sleeping on the floor lol

My son is 3 with a very active imagination and he is scared a lot at night in his room. I gave him a hand held nightlight and we tell him he has to fall asleep in his room. If he wakes up scared then he is allowed to come into our room. I just make a little bed next to ours with blankets. At first he came in almost every night and now its not even once a week.
