Hi Abbey, thanks for your response, I did try that for an while because I read that they can become jealous of the baby, but now I see all her teeth are scew, (I dont know if its pronounce that way), could that be the result of the dummy? My son is a year now perhaps I should just take the dummy from him and all will be over, what do you think.. thanks again, God Bless

Thank you so much for your response, I did try to give the "dummy" to the little doggie who needs it more than her, it worked for an while but then she started to cry that her brother dont have to give his to the dog too!! My heart just melted, so back to square one, My son is now 1 year old, so I guess its about the right time to do the dissapearing act on his too, and I think it will solve a lot of things... So wish me luck, thanks again.

well, this one is rough, my daughter was 2 when we had our 2nd and we got rid of her pacifier just before the baby was born...she only liked the soothie binkies so we opted for a different type for our 2nd so she wouldn't be tempted by her baby sisters. We also told her about the binky fairy... you put all of the binkies in a bag and hang it on a tree outside, she comes to get them for the new babies that are being born, and for being such a good girl, she gave her a gift (just like the tooth fairy). She got a movie. But if there's some way to transition your little one to a type of binky that she won't like, I would try that. I wouldn't recommend the soothie...it will mess up their teeth (it did it to my oldest). Good luck!

i would give them both the dummy, she probably feels a bit insecure.if a dummy makes her feel better let her have one.a new baby is a wierd time for toddlers, she will give it up eventually on her own.
