Don't you wish you had a nanny to deal with these issues right about now?I wish I had a nanny when my son started doing that at 2.First of all I hope you have a good carpet shampooer. My child did this multiple different times at the age of 2,and I found that the only true solution is to watch your child or have someone else watch your child, every minute and every second of every freakin day. It's hard, but they can not be left alone for more than a few minutes at that age, because they will get into stuff and make big messes. If you are not potty training yet, start now because you have a long road ahead of you.It took me a year to fully potty train my son.

yayyy she's ready to be potty trained $20 extra in your pocket every couple days .. no more diapers :) Definetly put her in "big girl" underwear.. make potty time "fun".. if you can decorate the area where she sits to potty with flowers or something girly that she likes..it will give her incentive and make her feel more at ease.. this way the toilet does not look like a big terrible monster...

Good Luck :)

At night, if she's "painting the wall", a zip-up sleeper with the feet cut out and put on backwards so the zipper is in the back will prevent the removal of diaper and clothing and cause the paining to stop.

I agree with what everyone is saying she is ready to potty train. With my daughter all I did was get her her own potty showed her it was hers than every time me or one of my friends would go to the bathroom we would take her ,to show her that we went on our potty. I never had to do any thing else she potty trained her self. However for the first 6 months she would pee on the potty but poop only on the floor in front of the potty. She did eventually start doing #2 in the potty on her own. Now she is 9 and "says" she remembers that she did that cause it was scary to poop in the potty. Who knows if she is just making that up but at least I had no problem with the deed. Good Luck Im sure it will be a breeze!

well julie, my name is stephanie. i work in a child care facility and have three boys of my own. to me it sounds like she is ready to be potty trained. what i tell my parents at work because i work with 18mths to 30mths is to bring them in underwear only and as long as you do it at home and if she goes to child care make sure they are consistent with it as well. but they usually learn within a week or two. remember to take her every 15 mins for the first three days until you get use to her potty schedulr then after that it should be 30 and then they start to tell you or potty dance. well goodluck and i hope it goes well.

if you can catch it before it happens whaat i would suggest is getting her to the potty...she could be telling you that she wants to be a big girl but's not sure how to go about it....

I don't know how old your little girl is but usually that is a good sign to start potty training. Both my kids did that and I started potty training them and they did very good.
