I agree with Miranda. 7 months is no big deal. And even older kids have good nights and bad nights. My 11-month old usually sleeps through the night, but about a third of the time she'll wake up and need to be soothed back to sleep sometime in the middle of the night. Some kids take longer, some take shorter--I know you're looking forward to getting a full night's sleep, and you'll get it eventually.

Quoting vanessa:

its easy sum nites, but sum times she wants to play at 4 in the morning lol

If she is just playing and not needing to eat, then I would judt ignore her, leave the light off and maybe hand her a stuffed animal and go back to bed, if no one is up playing with her and the lights stay down low she is more likely to go right back to sleep from pure boredom.  My youngest son did this and it was so frusterating.  If she is waking up to eat though, maybe increase her food intake during the day and slowly wean her at night, over a week or 2 and she should be okay.  Nutritionaly baies can go all night without eating at that age, as long as they are getting enough at night.

My daughter is 9 months and has recently started to wake up several times a night. It takes some babies longer to start sleeping through the whole night. I suggest a bedtime routine such as, bath, story, cuddle then bed (or whatever works best for your family). Keep with the routine and and it might help a little. Also when she wakes in the night, keep the lights off and try not to speak to her. Just pat her back or bum and help her get back to sleep. Good luck and I hope it happens soon for you!

Normal. My son did the same thing. He still wakes up really early then wants to go back to sleep and he is 25 months. Is it easy to get her back to sleep?

Hey girl, my daughter is 16 months, shes been sleeping through the night since she was 3 months... lol yah i was one of the lucky ones!! but there are sometimes where she would wake up, like your daughter does... the only thing that i can tell you to do, is to go to her crib.. make sure she has her passy, bottle, blanket.. whatever it is that makes her feel secure (passy for mine) and pat her back until shes calm agian.. tends to work for mine... hope i helped you a little!! have a great day!
