My daughter refusing to go poop on the potty. And she's been holding it in till it gets so big and painful. I understand that she's scared case it hurts. But she has been pooping in her panties and pants. Also hiding poop under her bed. I'm so frustrated I don't know what to do. My husband and i never get mad at her when this happens. We really don't know what to do. She start kindergarten next year and I'm worried she will still do this.

Give her a baby dose of laxitive?

No, just kidding....I dont think that would be good--she may just have more accidents..... lol

I may not have any yet, but possibly expecting my first right now.... But I do have 4 younger sisters. Im not exactly sure what my parents did--cause I think we had a similar issue with one of my sisters when they were younger....

But personally, I would try to offer a "bribe" of sorts--a special treat if she can start going poop on the potty.??

And if after a few tries of that, if she STILL wont--you may want to talk to your doctor or paediatrician, and see what advice they can offer.
