My husband and I met when my oldest was a baby. He fell in love with him and My son has never known another father. However with the divorce coming I'm torn in weather I tell my son the truth or let my soon to be ex husband have visitation with him (if he will). My son has felt the distance but he loves him as his own father as his father has never been in the picture. What are your opinions?

Yes he may be a great kid without the info but he has a right to know the truth. I'm not saying to stop the relationship he has with his step dad or enforce a relationship with his bio dad, I'm just saying he has every right to know where he has come from.
How many adopted children want to find their bio family just so they know where they came from? I think the earlier you tell him the truth the more accepting he will be. If he finds out when he's an adult then he may resent you and and blame you for not telling him about his bio dad.

How old is your son?
I think your son has the right to know who his biological Father is. If he's older then he would know the difference between his Bio Father and the Father who raised him.
