I gave birth six months ago and my palms are still red. I was told that this would go away after the pregnancy was finished. Have any of you experienced this?

I have this as well. it showed up sometime between 3-4 mths.. has not gone away after giving birth nearly 6 months ago. I hate it, it looks so bad. I catch people staring at my palms all the time... I've had my liver checked several times as red palms be an indicator that something is wrong with it, but all tests come back normal. My doctor says it's just caused from bloodflow. I'm not all that convinced. Are you still having this issue with your hands?

I didn't have red palms, but I had little popped blood vessels that came up on my arms and on the tip of my nose. I was told that they would go away too, but that had not really happened. The ones on my arms are not quite as red as they were, but the one on my nose is still really red. My daughter will be one on Jan. 1st, so I suppose it could take longer. However, I have just started having normal periods within the last 2 months. I breast fed her for the first 6 months and was on a mini pill. I had no periods during this time. When I stopped breast feeding, I went to the nuva ring. If you are not familiar with it, you place it in your vagina and leave it for 3 weeks, take it out for a week and then place a new one in. It has taken me almost 6 months for my hormones to get back to normal to have a normal period. When I started to become normal, that is when I noticed the spots going away. So if you are nursing your baby then maybe your hormones are not back to normal and therefore you palms still are like they were when pregnant.
