I am new to this...so I really don't know what to do. I recently quit my job to stay home with my children, because my son starts pre-k in the fall and I want to spend time with him before he starts school. I also think it's important that I take him to school and be there to pick him up from school. I am ready to spend time with my younger child, the same time that I got to spend with my son before I started working and they went to daycare. I have lots of plans and ideas. I hope I enjoy it like I did with my son. My son is 4 and my daughter is almost 2. I am planning on going to MOPS (Mothers of Pre-Schoolers) to get interactions with local mothers in my area. I am a military spouse and my hubby just returned home from overseas on Father's Day...what a nice present huh!

Welcome to the group! :) You'll love being at home, it's so rewarding. I was so happy when I was able to quit my job and be at home with my son. You can also check out www.meetup.com and they have playgroups all over, maybe one is in your area. MOPS is cool. I like my group.
