My nearly 20 month old baby has been starting to not nap is this okay? When she does nap it's usually at 3 and then I can't get her to go to sleep till nearly midnight and that Can't happen. Tips, Stories, anything would be helpful.

Some children need more sleep than others but I have found in general that most kids this age still need a nap. I would suggestt that you try and get into a rhythum of putting her down after lunch whether she looks tired or not. I ve done this with both of my boys and initially they may have lied there crying/talking for a bit they evetually went off and then realised that this was a sleep time. I find that putting them down at this time avoids them being crabby right on tea time but they are also ready for bed at bedtime. Hope this helps:)

The first step is to make sure she gets up in the morning at the same time, regardless of when she's gone to bed. Our mornings have a staggered start since all of ours have different bedtimes and wake times. Our 2 year old goes to bed at 9 and gets up at 9.

She then spends all morning running around, playing, we go out if it's nice enough out, do a few errands sometimes, then it's lunchtime.

She eats, has a drink, and then goes down for a nap at 1. She naps for 2 hours. If she naps longer it throws off her sleep pattern, if she sleeps less then she's grumpy for the rest of the day.

I've found right after lunch works best for her. She's had all morning to run around and is laying down with a full belly so she's not fussy. =) Hope that helps.
