Need Advise: First time preg

Hello Everyone, I am 33 years old and first time pregnant. Today, it's 5 weeks and 5 days. I started spotting brown blood on friday(31st May) and it lasted for 2 days. On Sunday (2nd June) I started spotting bright red blood and it's happening for 6 days now, its 7th June today. It happens like a few drops during the day and everytime I use the rest room. I have started using a napkin - red blood clearly visible on that.

On the 4th June, I visited gynae and we saw gestation sac (no yolk sac) during the scan. I told her about bleeding but she didn't seem worried. She told me that bleeding at any time during the pregnancy is not good and it can go either way. It's beyond our control and medical science can not do much about it. She has prescribed UTROGESTAN 100 mg, twice a day and asked me to rest as much as possible, no jogging or swimming.

I dont have any abdominal cramps. I do have lower backpain once in a while, but it's just minor. Also, I am weighing 44 kg and 5 ft. I fear that I am underweight to carry this pregnancy.

I am not sure what's going on. I was pregnant a year ago and had missed it at 5 weeks, day after the scan.
And I fear that I am going to miss it this time again. Has anyone faced this situation before? Could this be an indication of possible miscarriage?

Sorry for long post but i am really worried - it's first time for me. Any recommendation is highly appreciated. Many Thanks.

I went through those same symptoms with my first and second pregnancy. I end uphaving a miscarriage with the first pregnancy, and giving birth to a healthy baby girl. I've only been pregnant twice, but I bleed/spotted at the beginning of both. Just stay positive and try to minimize the stress in your life. I was underweight but eat healthy and enough for two and that will change quickly. I end up quitting my job to save my daughter, I slept and rested as much as I could, and I wouldn't change anything because she's worth it.
