I completely agree with Kelly!!! Your 3 year old is craving Mommy time!!! give her some of your time...just one on one each day and the problem may be lessened.... They are gonna fight throughout life....LOL my 9year old always fights with my 5 year old!!!! Have a BIG GIRL activiity just for you and her.... go out to eat or play dress up, makeup, paint nails...take pics of you and her....let her know that her sibling is an addition and not a substitution..... HOPE this helps :)

I have a 5yr old son and 3yr old twin girls. It sounds to me like your 3yr old is craving some attention from you when she is being mean to your son. Try not to make it your sons fault when you can't do something for her at the moment she asks for it, for instance if your daughter wants something to drink and you busy changing your sons nappy, dont say to her i'm busy with your brother just wait, rather say something like mommy will be with you just after I have finished, dont give the situation a name. I found that this helped alot with when my twins were born and my son never even now got jealous or mean. Also with her sleeping problems. I found with my son that the tv keeps him awake so we turn off the tv by 7:30pm (we have pvr dstv so we record our stuff that we wanna watch). And if its not the tv just check if she is not eating or drinking too late. Also dont play with her too late either rather tell her a story or play with her hair. It helps with my almost 3yr old twins....

Is she in daycare where she can pick up those behaviors? Or has anything happened lately that changed her world (big girl bed, moving, potty training, school)?
