There is a great cook book by Jerry Seinfeld's wife , i think it is called deliciously deceptive .
It has heaps of recipies for great meals where hubby and baby wont even know how many veggies you have hidden in there .

Here is the website .

I dont eat very healthy either I hate fruits and vegetables but I know that my child should. I make her baby food by just buying things like pears and sweet potatoes, etc and just throw it in the blender for her. When I cook for my children I always cook a vegetable even if I dont eat it and I try to eat it in front of them so they can see that it is good for them.

Have her try everything! I used to fake eat daughter eats more than me or my husband. From tomatos, raw onion, everything....let your child determine what she likes. That way you know her favorites. Our daughter asks for green beans for snack...

It doesn't matter what your partner eats, If your child likes fruit n veg they will eat it. You can use extra vergin olive oil in your partners meals, It's less fattning n more healthy. Don't stress too much. Your child will eat what ever you put in front of them as long as you eat it too. They do go through a fase of not eating veg for a while when they are two, Then when they are 7 or 8 they will go through a fase where they wont eat meat. It happens to all children. Just think of ways to disgise the thing they don't like.

Just never say that you don't like somthing in front of your child or they wont even try it. N be preperd to try new things. Make it fun, Make faces out of fruit/veg, Even try healthy toppings on pizzas. I make them all the time with bread ( preferably wholmeal, Rey or maltigrain ) Tomato sauce/Ketchup, Chopped bacon or ham, Cut up capsicum/Bell peppers, Pinapple n cheese. Then put them in the oven untill the cheese has melted or is browned slightly. Usualy about 5min on 180 C. You can freez them too. My kids take them to school. Hope this helps. :)

I advise that you start with baby foods or mashed foods introducing fruits and vegetables and the foods that more closely resemble the diet you want the baby to have. My hubby eats a lot of junk foods, fried foods and don't like but like 3 vegetables but the kids eat a variety due to the fact that I introduced them to a lot of differnt foods when they came of age. My 2 yr old actually asks for broccoli. So have no fear it's one of those things that lies in your control.
