I am a Navy Wife, my husband and I have been together 9+ years and married for 3 years. I thought I could have handled the absence but it's so freaking hard. I have a 6 month old and I feel like the world is on my shoulder. I am so lonely and overwhelmed. The only advice I can give you is to not have kids until at least 2 years into being married. It's hard being a single parent without help. I was never a party girl but I just feel like I have no life. I do not even get an 1hr to myself. So I advise you to wait a while before you start your family. Stay busy while he's away, find a strong support system. And luck
