New here...Mom for years

I am a mom to an eight year old boy and an 18 month old girl. I feel like an old pro. My husband and I are working on getting licensed to do foster care. I am excited. Two days ago my daughter was playing with my husband's wallet. When we went to change her diaper a $20 bill fell out. I couldn't believe that my husband didn't notice it was missing. I see problems for us in the future.

197's comical that she went straight for the $20 bill...she has already figured out which one will get her the most candy! It doesn't sound like you will have problems in the future, because by the sounds of it you are well on your way to welcoming more kids into your home to provide them with the much-needed care and support that you are giving to your own children. Foster parenting is a far tougher job than biological parenting, but if you have to know-how and the strength and determination, then you will succeed and I'm certain that many children will be better off because of your commitment to their health and well being.
