Any one have any ideas/ pictures for a easy bob hair style. I have long, thin, staight, boring hair and I'm thinking of chopping it all off! It's too windy and hot here so I usually just put it in a pony tail everyday. Also, I have no time to style it and no styling skills. I want a short style that I can wash and go with, without having to do anything to it. The most I would want to do is run some gel or mouse through it. I want something a little shorter than chin length but not too boyish. I like Samantha Brown's hair (from the travel channel) but I don't know if that would be easy to style. Thanks!

I have done this several times and I never have time to do even the easiest style. If you are lacking body in your hair it will look limp and greasy, I found these style require expencive productsto make it even look halfway decent. I have always gone back to my beloved pony tail. Try a style that has some layering around your face but still long enough to tie back. Maybe try some color or highlights, you will have the same fresh feel but still have to freedom to be loazy and tie it back.

I agree. I had her cut mine to where it fell right to my shoulder but still had the layers. My hubby loves long hair so mine has grown out some since, but it is nice because the layers make it where you dont have to pull your hair back, it stays back on its own. Good luck with your hair! :) I hope you find a good wash and wear hairstyle. Looking at your pic, you would look good with a short bob, that should work for fine hair too and should be low maintenance unless you want volume at the roots.

I also have stright thin hair....i even tried once to get a perm and it took 3 perm solutions and it only stayed in for about 2 months....so i am also a ponytail mom....my hair is cut that i could style it if i had the time but i usually just pull it back into a ponytail and go, i do have bangs cut so they are lony enough to go behind my ears, but are still noticable as bangs....i just went to the hair salon and told them what i was lookin for and that i didn't have much time at all to style it and wanted a wash and wear hairstyle. When she was done i liked it, but it has grown a few inches since then.......good luck.....http://www.zimbio.com/Mid+Length+Hairsty... was kinda like that but a little bit longer

i got my hair cut to just above my shoulders, and with blended layers all over. i have really straight hair and the blended layers help add a little body even when i don' t do my hair all fancy. it is easy to tie in a ponytail, which i do pretty much every day since my son (8mo) thinks its hilarious to pull my hair! and you can let it down and straighten it in about 5-10min since it's not very long :) i don't have any pictures of mine but here's some rough examples with and without bangs: http://www.beautyriot.com/stuff/images/a..., http://hairstyleschat.com/medium-hairsty...

You could probably do an angled bob like Posh Spice's. That might be a good wash and wear hairstyle. I got that done to my hair a little bit after I had grown out my hair for my wedding. I still have to blow-dry my hair every day since it's naturally wavy, but it'd probably be a wash and wear hairstyle for you since your hair is naturally straight. Here's a link for a pic of Posh's hair. http://www.zimbio.com/Reverse+Bob+Haircu...

Best of luck!

Be careful about cutting your hair short! I had that same idea, cut it short so it would be wash and wear, but it ended up being more trouble than it was worth! My hair is also kinda thin and a little wavy. I had it cut short in high school and it was really cute but when I tried to do it that way again it didn't happen. Now I'm trying to let it grow out. It's much easier to pull it back into a ponytail! Short hair requires way more upkeep than long hair!

I got a short do that is a wash and wear cut. My hair is really fine and extremely straight. This is the first hair cut I have had that I didnt have to do anything to, it automatically falls right thanks to the cut. It is a short shag/pixie combo. I googled hair cuts for fine hair one day and it popped up. Here is the pic I gave my hairstylist.
