I just started putting my daughter in panties. She only we the bed the first night. I think you just gotta throw them into it and be prepared to wash a lot of sheets. It does get easier once they get the hang of it. My daughter has an accident maybe once a month. But she does wake up when she starts to pee and runs to the bathroom so very little gets on her sheets.

we've been doing this for awhile. My daughter is 3 soon to be 4 and is completely potty trained in the daytime. A few months ago we tried to get her out of pull-ups at night and for some reason it just didn't work. So we put her back in pull-ups and after awhile when she stayed dry consistantly we took her out of them. Well, now she is going to potty before bed with no extra drinks at bed time. I'll let her have a cup of water in case she gets thirsty at night but other than that no extra drinks and so far it's been working out perfectly! I just think that when you see him consistant night after night with staying dry in the morning then he'll be ready. This is not something that you can just WANT to happen and it happen.

My daughter is three and she is potty trained during the day and through her naps. Now that is done I have been starting to try and get her to become night time potty trained. So far the tactic i have been using is to remind her when she lays down to go potty. Then we talk about how cool it would be to be able to wear panties at night and not the pull up. Then in the morning, when she is wet I ask her why she didn't get up and got to the bathroom, then I ask her if she is going to try to do a better job the next night. So far, we have about two nights a week that she stays dry. I think I am going to let her wear panties to bed, maybe tonight and see if it is like day time training. With day time training she really did well with getting rid of the pullup. she had a few accidents, but then they stopped.

It has not worked yet, but this is my next step toward dry nights! This was a great question and I cannot wait to see what other mom's think!

Warmest wishes,
