No desire for sex

My baby girl is almost 16 months old. I know that its normal to lose interest in sex after having a baby, but its been well over a year and I have no desire what so ever. Yes I work but i'm not overly tired, my guy is a stay at home dad so I don't have to worry about the house work and my daughter sleeps 12 hours a night. So I don't understand why I don't have the urge. The drs. don't tell me anything, just that its normal. We want to start trying for another baby, but how can we if I don't want to do anything? Is this normal? Does anyone have any ideas to help my sex drive?

Im gonna have to go with Victoria, if your on any type of BC the most common side affects are loss of sex drive and hair.

Just curious, but are you on birth control now? If so, what kind? I was on the Nuvaring for about 5-6 years until recently and rarely had much of sex drive the entire time. I thought it was just me, but as it turns out it was a major side effect (which I should have known, it is posted) along with several other random things (like loss of hair) that I was also experiencing and was getting worse. I stopped taking it at the end of May, and things are beginning to get back to normal. Other than that, it may be a self esteem issue possibly or just pure exhaustion. Try exercising and eating healthy, if you don't already, and schedule a couple vacation (no kids!) for the two of you as soon as possible!

Masturbate! It helps you to feel good about yourself, feel comfortable and ups your sex drive

They make arousal cream you can put on the area 5 min before he wants to do it. It should help to turn you on.
