well if your having periods sporadically you could easily fall pregnant. the same thing happened to me after i had my first baby, 28 days after she was born i had my first period then had them regularly for a couple of months then they just stopped for about five months, it was really worrying at the time but it all worked out, i hope it does for you too.

Um well i would say yes as it is quite common for me to go 9mths plus with out a period and i know have a 6yr old healthy vibrant boy. The thing you need to do is check if your still ovulating but often you can just get an injection of hormones to try stimulate your periods once again.

i had a pregnancy scare when my son as 2 months old he is now 3 months as we didnt use protection and i hadnt gone back on the pill yet i got the pill but she said we had to use other kinds of protection for 7 days as i was midway through my cycle but we forgot. so i took the morning after pill but 72 hours later which they said it might not work so i was booked in to have an emergency coil fitted. (which i didnt really want). i stiull didnt get a period so went back and took a pregnancy test and thank god it was negative but it was such a worry. i wouldnt have minded having an other one but my hubby would have lol maybe in a few years

YOU SURE CAN!!! A 9 month old son and another on the way, both without having a period before their conception after the previous pregnancy (my 1st pregnancy was after a miscarriage). If you don't want another baby, use contraceptives other than breast feeding (if you still are)

Would like to add that both of my children were very much wanted, though the first not entirely planned!

if you are b.f. you might not get a period, but you still ovulate. i was told to watch when my husband to have sex, that if it is in the ovultion time before we had our daughter that the time will still be in that window frame. so if you can remember when your time was that might help. good luck

yes!!  trust me!!  i was breastfeeding my 8 month old daughter and hadnt had a period except once or twice and i thought i couldnt get pregnant.  guess again!  i just gave birth to my third child three months ago.  if you really dont want to get pregnant now or for a while, i reccommend that Mirena.  i got one and i love not having to worry about taking a pill and it doesnt effect nursing or really cause any weight gain or anything.  that's what i suggest.  it is ALWAYS possible to get pregnant, it's always possible.  (unless you're already pregnant!  lol!)  good luck and God bless!

Yes you can! Before I had my son I didnt have a period for 7 months. The doc kept putting me off putting me off. They gave me your depressed put me on anti deppressants and it took them 7 months to get me into a specialist. Come to find out that my prolactin levels were way high and supposely i couldnt have children. They put me on this medication to help told me no birth control because that what caused this mess and i took half a pill still no period but come to findout i was pregnat!!!

I have an irregular cycle meaning that some months I get a period, some months I don't, It all depends on when my body feels like having one. I have a 13 month old son and am about to have my second child in a few weeks. So if your body is doing what mine does than it's totally possible. Unless you already are and that's why you haven't been having them. Our second Child was a bit of a surprise so I can see where your comming from with being worried. The best thing you could do I would think would be to take a test or see your doctor to see if you are. Good luck with everything.

yes! you can get preggers without a period, it's not as likely, but it can happen. Continue using protection if you do not want another little one yet. :) I know it's kindof bad news, but better to be safe than sorry!
