I've been told that it's only 90% accurate I'm having a girl. I'm not sure whether i should wash all the clothes and everything I have for her now or wait until she's born and then wash everything but still take all the neutral things i've got for her to the hospital washed and ready.

I have 3 children and they were right each time. With my son even I could see his "boy bits" in the ultrasound. Technology is getting better and i found out i was having a girl with my daughter who is now 1, when i was only 15 weeks along! good luck with the rest of your pregnancy, hope it all goes well.

the least accurate %wise is 50 - because it has to be a boy or a girl so 50/50 is when they can't tell.

with my first they were 75% sure because i'm awkward to scan. this baby they can't tell.

i've had 3 20week scans and the baby had its legs shut on all of them. so no ideas. mand x

Great, thank you both for your help. I am just a bit hesistant because when i went for my 20 weeks ultrasound the person before me came out and was telling me her story saying that at her 20 weeks they told her she was having a girl and for some reason she had to go back at 34 weeks and had another ultrasound and that was the weekend of her baby shower and they said sorry we were wrong you're actually having a boy.. so I was like oh no i hope that doesn't happen to me. But thankyou to you both! :-)

Hi, I'm pregnant also and had my 20 week scan today and got told im having a girl to and she said she was 90% sure as-well im pretty confident it is a girl as she saw the labia clearly and no presence of boy bits at all so as long as she saw that you should be safe. I already have a little girl who was born last year and found out her sex from her 20 week scan also and she came out a girl so they are very accurate and would have seen a boy parts if it was going to be a boy.

Hi and hust read your post and saw noone has helped you yet and thought I might leave you a post to say hi and put my opinions to you, hope they help. All I can say really is do what you feel is natural, go with how you feel. When they say that its only 90% accurate it normally means that they are covering their backs.....................basically, its prob 99.9% accurate and only 1 out of 100 women have given birth to the opposie sex in which they were told. I havent heard of many mistakes to be honest and to be even more honest if they are THAT unsure they would have just said its undetermined and they couldnt get a clear view.............I think if they said a girl then you will definately being having a girl. I hope everything goes grat for you and PLEASE let me no when you have her, I wish you all the best xxx
