Not Eating Much of a Bottle Since Solids

My 6 month old has been eating solids (rice, veggies & fruits) for the last couple months. In the past weeks he has really slowed down on how much he is drinking from the bottle. He only eats about 24 oz of formula in a day (4, 6 oz bottles) and has moved on to stage 2 foods twice a day. I know he will be transitioning to more solids, but didn't know if this is normal?

my baby is 7 months old, i have had problems with her keeping formula down since she started eating solids and had to put her on cows milk, she only has 7floz of milk a day now, its all she requests and if i try and give her more she wont drink it. i now substite milk with yoghurts, custard, rusks etc that have a lot of iron and calcium in. every child is different on how much solids they eat and how much milk they drink, if he wants it, give it to him. if he doesn't dont.

Don't worry about it. Give him what he wants, it's not going to hurt him. He's adorable, by the way!

yer its fine there suppost to cut down formular when having solids but son is a piggie he eats his mash and gravey of a evening and then is like wheres my bottle!!! lol and he is 7 months lol! he does it all day and i give him 4 7oz bottles and most of the time he will only have about 6oz so i wouldn't worry but daughter only ever drank 5oz. Every baby will disside themselves as long as he is healthy and looks happy then its good. Hope this helps
