OMG....what do I do?

Has anyone else had thier kids walk in on them while they were "in the act"? What do you say to them? It totally happened to me last night and I wanted to laugh...and couldn't think of what to say because my son is only 3.5.... :( How do I talk to him about that? Should I shake it off or do I talk about it? I don't know HOW to talk to him or if I even should.... :(

I would see if he asks you anything about what you were doing. If he does, then give him an honest but age appropriate answer. Explain that mommy and daddy love each other very much and that what he saw was one of the ways that grown ups show how much they love each other. You don't have to get overly technical or anything and if you don't make a big deal about it I doubt he will either. Also, this may be a good time to explain about knocking on a door if it's closed before going in. That may help with future incidents. Good luck!

i agree with amy said but i would bring it up if he doesnt ask. He might be scared to ask and he also might be asuming things like that dady was hurting momy...:) Just say that what he saw last nite was just momy and day having grown up fun.
