Where does everyone stand on organic products versus buying clothes, food, and other products right off the Walmart shelf?

I try my best to buy organic...but like it has been pointed out it is very pricey. I just try to choose the things that are most important to me for my children and what they consume the most I buy organic milk (and am looking into raw milk if anyone has any opinions on that...still doing the research), organic veggies and fruits (we have a garden in the summer for some things and I buy a lot at local farms and markets the smaller the better because I don't think they use all the crap), we do cloth diapers and chlorine free wipes, and I try to stay away from plastic toys and/or food products...and there are some awesome wooden toys out there!!!! Good is hard when you know your decisions are directly going to impact your little ones especially long term!!! Just do what feels best for you...that's all we can do as mommies!

I try to buy organic products if I can, but often the price it just too high. I'm also not convinced they are better than the non-organic - especially when it comes to food. Lots of recent testing has shown organic foods aren't any more nutrient dense, and are just as contaminated with pesticides as everything else in the grocery store. I do try to go with natural cleaning products, cloth diapers, non-plastic toys, and recycled materials whenever I can.

I personally think that buying organic is overpriced. I like to eat healthy and we feed our daughter very healthy foods, but as for organic clothes and things, I'll stick to stuff right off the shelf lol :)
