Personal hygiene in kids

My 7 y/o son fights me to the death about taking showers and baths, brushing his teeth, washing his hands, cleaning his ears, clipping nails, etc. The only thing he'll do on his own [that's hygiene related] is change his clothes daily.

I've tried reminder check lists, sticker charts, rewards, praise, etc. Nothing seems to work. Anyone else dealing w/hygiene issues w/their children? I need advice please :)

It sounds like your doing everything right by trying diffrent ways of motivating him to take care of his own hygiene. Have you tried sitting down and talking to him about the importance of hygiene? I would show him what happens when you dont take care of your personal body and what the side effects are. Show him pictures and even pull up things over the internent showing him what can happen, maybe knowing the reality will shap him up.

Also he could just like the attention he gets from you since you will do it for him, try not helping him and see what results you get.
