After birth of your child has any of your periods changed? This month mine was like it was before I found out I was pregnant, has anyone had any like that? Is it normal for the periods to change?

I'd call the doctor and just tell them what's going on. It's probably nothing, but it's always good to check for reassurance.

See before I found out I was pregnant, I had a period for like 2 days, and then after my daughter they were like 4 days with a day or two of spotting, this past month it lasted 2 days again and a little spotting, I was wondering if aynone had that happen before or does anyone think I ought to call my OBGYN?

My periods have become extemely erratic! Like my last period was a week late, lasted 11 days, extremely heavy with seriously painful cramps. But the one before was 1 week early lasted 6 days was somewhat heavy with only small cramping. before that They were coming every 16 days! My dr isn't worried so I'm not stressin over it! I am, however getting a second opinion, just to be on the safe side!

I had one period after my daughter before I went on the pill and it was completely unexpected. My period was always regular and I knew when it was coming and this one came a week after I had stopped postpartum bleeding. It was my normal 4 days, but I think it was a little lighter. I was nursing at the time so I think hormones do play a big part. I then went on the mini pill and my period was way off. I only had 2 periods the 4 months I was on it. Then I went on the regular pill and I've been regular again ever since. The cramps have gone and my period is lighter with no bleeding at night. Just remember that a lot of things "down there" are going to be different after birth.

I am not on any birth control, we are Catholic, so we are doing NFP. Anyway, my period (I just got off of it, the first one so far) and it was shorter, lighter, and less painful. The PMS was still there, but that was down a notch as well. Even though my husband may disagree. Just kidding.

So, yes its normal. And Abigail is right about the hormones trying to regulate themselves. My doctor said that sometimes they may even fix things that you were experiencing before, like heavy flows, painful intercourse, and strong cramps.

My period did change. After having two children, my period is heavier. If I were taking birth control it would be very light, but I am not so I have to deal with a heavier period now.

Mine got a lot heavier but I went on the pill so now I really don't get one but when I do it's pretty light. It's normal for them to change due to hormones and youur body trying to get back to its previous state.
